How can I become an Exhibitor?

To reserve a space, please fill out our Exhibitor Booth Request Form

What are the rates for exhibiting at SIAL 2024?

What is the deadline for finalizing my booth?

You have until the day before the opening of the show, on May 14, 2024, to complete registration for your booth space (subject to availability).

Can I choose my booth location?

You can express your location preference to your sales representative, who will do their best to accommodate you. A layout plan of your location will then be submitted for approval.  

What different types of booths do you offer?

We offer options ranging from 50 square feet (ft2) to pavilions of over 1,000 ft2, including both furnished, turnkey and fully customizable booths. We also offer a new option for smaller companies in our Start-up Village.

Already an exhibitor

I've booked my exhibitor space. What should I do next?

1 – Login to your exhibitor area

2 – Sign up for free in the show guide through your exhibitor area before March 20, 2024.

3 – Set up your booth with GES or your own decorator. Your plan must be validated before April 19 by emailing camille@planesolutions.ca.

4 – Check the calendar for key dates, links, and order forms, as well as our list of official service providers.

5 – Order your electricity, plumbing, compressed air, banner hanging, internet, and cleaning on the Palais des Congrès ordering portal. The layout plan for these elements must be provided at the time of ordering.

6 – Customize your booth, order your handling, storage, and forklift service through the GES ordering portal.

7 – Order your ice storage, refrigeration and freezing services, or other equipment here.

8 – Organize the transport and reception of your goods.

9 – Fill out any necessary paperwork if you plan to distribute food or alcohol samples.

How many exhibitor badges are included with my booth, and where can I get them?

Exhibitor badges will be issued at the exhibitor reception during the setup and in the lobby (Access 201, Viger West Avenue) during the show. These badges cannot be lent or exchanged. Badges are only issued if full payment for the stand has been settled. Badge registration will open in mid-March, in your Exhibitor Space.

Opening hours for the “exhibitor badges” counter:

  • Monday, May 13: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Tuesday, May 14: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, May 15: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Thursday, May 16: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday, May 17: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Quantities:

– Regular Exhibitors: 2 badges per 100 ft2

– Privilege Exhibitor: 5 badges per 100 ft2

– Additional Badge: $25+tx per badge. Order your additional badges on your Exhibitor Space.

Can I invite clients or prospects to the show for free?

Yes, invitation cards are included in your exhibitor package.

Regular Exhibitor: 10 visitor invitation cards per 100 ft2

Privilege Exhibitor: 100 visitor invitation cards per 100 ft2 (max 500)

Additional invitation cards can be ordered.

What are the competitions, and how can I participate?

SIAL Innovation: FREE Registration – For any food or non-food product created, launched, or introduced to the market, starting from January 2023. (Registration deadline: April 1st, 2024)

Pitch Competition: for exhibitors in the START UP village.

How can I make my booth stand out?

What are the setup/teardown dates?
  • Setup dates: Monday, May 13, and Tuesday, May 14. A precise setup schedule will be sent to you three weeks before the show.
  • Teardown dates: Friday, May 17, starting at 4:00 PM, and Saturday, May 18.
To which address should I have my materials delivered?

During the exhibition, exhibitors have the option to have boxes, crates, or parcels delivered every day from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. All shipments must be delivered, carriage paid, to the unloading docks.

What can I do with my food leftovers after the event?

Our partner Moisson Montréal will pick up only Canadian and unopened products from your stand on Friday, May 17, at 4:00 PM. A container will also be available near the docks. 

Stay & Visa

I am an exhibitor and need a visa, how do I proceed?

You can request it from our customer service at the address administration@expocanadafrance.com. Visa letters are sent upon receipt of payment for your booth invoice.

Can I get a promotional rate for my flight and hotel reservation?

Yes, as participants in the exhibition, you benefit from a promotional rate and privileged service through our partners. Plan your visit to Montréal.
