The Innovation Spotting Competition

The SIAL Innovation competition is a unique international competition that rewards the best innovations in food and non-food related products, such as packaging and containers.

The competition is open to all exhibitors, and select winners based on the following 4 criteria: packaging, manufacturing process, merchandising and recipe.

A word from the 2018 Gold Prize winner

SIAL innovation in 4 steps

Step 1

Register for the competition through the registration platform and pay the entry fees ($150 CAD)before February, 21.

Step 2

Then, our Jury will select the winners amongst a pre-selection of the best innovations.

Step 3

The 10 winners will be announced to the press two weeks before the show.

Step 4

Our Jury will announce the grand-prize winners for the Gold, Silver and Bronze categories during an official ceremony in front of the major actors of the food industry on April, 15.

SIAL Innovation is coming back for its 13th edition by searching for the most innovative products in North America! 

One of the most awaited event of the show every year, SIAL Innovation is the only international competition that reveal the most innovative products in the food industry while offering them global visibility.

 

The grand-prize winners will be awarded by our partner Nielsen with a $5,000 grant for the silver and Bronze category and $10,000 for the SIAL Innovation Gold medal on April 15, 2020.
