American consumers spent more than $43 BILLION on organic products in 2015.

Millennials are driving this growth, which is mostly attributable to a desire for transparency about the supply chainmillennials simply want to know where their food comes from. As parents, they choose organic more than any other generation.

To date, the industry has shown continuous, steady growth at a rate of 10.8% in 2015, which is well above that of the overall food market at 3.3%. The number of organic businesses grew a record 12% in one year, reaching a total of 22,000.

Organic products are present in over 75% of all categories found on supermarket shelves.
