Innovation is the DNA of SIAL Canada. For more than 15 years, hundreds of companies from all over the world have been taking part in passionate competitions that encourage, celebrate and showcase the most innovative products in the industry.
As a real springboard to success, these contests promise a thrilling experience!
SIAL Innovation, the show’s signature event, honors those who are designing tomorrow’s consumer plate.
In April, the Jury will select 10 finalists from among the many applications from around the world. The winner will be revealed on the first day of the show. Don’t miss the prestigious award ceremony!
Open to all our exhibitors, it rewards the winners according to 4 criteria: packaging, manufacturing process, merchandising and recipe.
A jury of cheese industry professionals will evaluate the best of the best from the more than 200 cheeses submitted and award gold medals to the best cheeses in the 26 categories.
Come and taste the Champion cheeses by category, as well as the Grand Champion cheese!
The competition is open to cheeses of all types of milk, exhibitors or non-exhibitors of SIAL Canada.
Each year, more than one hundred Extra Virgin Olive Oils are showcased to the 20,000 visitors of SIAL Canada.
Basil, pepper, truffle, parmesan… Aromatic oils are entering the competition this year! Who will be rewarded with the Goutte d’Or at this 20th edition?
New this year, a special prize for the southern hemisphere will also be awarded!
The competition is open to extra virgin olive oils from all over the world, whether or not they are exhibitors at SIAL Canada.
